Our first season is OVER!!!

We finished in the thick of it. 3 wins 4 losses. congratulations to all the kids for doing a really great job and learning the game of football. We ran into the Aggies twice and held our own until Halftime, but they were the better team. In the playoffs we played the Hurricanes and were beaten.

Our kids are the best! Congratulations and thanks to all the parents who sacrificed their busy time to be with their kids. We could not have done it without you.

Congratulations to Pro-temp Head Coach Ramiro for doing a great job with the kids! He will be back as the Head Coach officially for the 2009 season of the Red Raiders.

Parents, Players and Friends.

Our final game for the season will be played against the Hurricanes on December 6, 2008. It will be held at Merryman Park and we hope to have a good turnout.

We will be holding practice without equipment on Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Oliveira Park, just so our boys do not get rusty until the game next week. We hope everyone can come.

Hey Team,

We did it!!! Under the guidance of Coach Ramiro and some great help from Coach Randy we shut down the Lobos. If you see our scores, they beat us the first game of the season 14 to 6.

But we practiced hard and our boys did great!!!

Congratulations to all our Red Raiders.

The guys that stepped up are:

Mark, No. 33, for the great receptions

Joey, No. 3, for the great rushing and scary tackleing

Lewis, No. 74, for the sacks and containment of the offense

Adrian, No. 22, for the pressure on the QB

The offensive line for protecting our QB Kevin, No. 9.

and finally, who can forget the hit Joey, No. 3, and Fabian, No. 34 put on the Lobos Running Back. CRUNCH!!!!!!!

We are playing our first game of the season in the youth division!!! SATURDAY OCT. 18, 2008

The Red Raiders are playing The Lobos at Oliveira Middle School (we think).

Wish us Luck!!!! We did have a scrimmage against the Longhorns and we did very well.

Our special teams, defense and offense showed the hard work of our coaching staff.

Head Coach Barreda, Assistant Coaches Randy, Manny, P.J., Dorian, Ramiro and Charles. They all worked hard on the boys and are rightly proud of them.
