News Article - Great Things to Come... - Aug 25, 2009 The Varsity team has done very well in the two jamboree's these past two weekends. We were motivated in the Oakdale's jamboree, I was told that Oakdale had posted a comment on the teams from the Mother Lode league, that we were weak and not competitive. Our boys took that to heart and we made a statement that day by only giving up 25 total yards to Oakdale, and 45 yards total to Waterford and Manteca teams. We were very please the way our kids played for only having two weeks of practice. As we were leaving someone said "thats the differance of corn fed and meat fed" . This weeks jamboree was a repeated with the same results, shuting down the Cowboys, Bullfrogs and Jr. Cats to 45 yards, We scored 14 times and gave up 0. We still have some work to do and are looking forward to a great season. I am very please with the way all four programs are going, the Bantam team looks very strong this year. Perri
