Welcome to the Chaingang/Worth website. We are a Class B team based out of Pgh, Pa. with players from Pa. and Oh. We are proud to have Worth as our equipment supplier for the 2010 season. We will be playing ASA, NSA, SSAA and WSL this upcoming season with our season culminating with 2-3 Natl. tourneys. We will have a mix of veteran leadership and youthful energy on the squad this year and are looking for big things from our team. Our schedule will consist of some local tourneys in the Pgh area as well as a mix of Class "B/C" NIT's throughout the Midwest.
New Photo Gallery - Johnstown Point Tourney - May 31, 2010 News Article - Tourney - Mar 23, 2010 Team Worth/Chaingang opened up the 2010 season with the Mt Pleasant One Day tourney March 20th. Despite a slow start, the Gang stormed back thru the losers bracket to split first place money. Darkness made the "if" game impossible so the Worth boys were forced to split the prize. Standout performers for the Gang were Paul Stanley hitting .810(17/21) w/5 hr's, Jim Smith .737(14/19), Ryan Guthrie .688(11/16), Brent Hodgson .684(13/19) and Mike Latkanich .625(10/16). Ryan Guthrie was outstanding in the outfield as well..making two great HR stealing grabs. Shane Eye came on to do a great job pitching as well. Overall a great team effort..........
