                Well its been a long time coming for the new breed of Aguilas. They finally got their championship. Know they can join the Atlanta Braves in saying they at least got one. Paul pitched a strong six innings. Joe came in to pick up the victory. Ryan knocked in Alex in the bottom of the ninnth to ignite the frenzy at home. 

The Aguilas advance to the finals defeating Santa Rita 12-5. Joe pitched 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He battled the whole way whilehis defense was shaky, but he battled giving up one unearned . Santiago pitched the last three to give the Aguilas the win. Paul was 2-5 with a 2 run homerun.art continued his hot streak going 3-5 with 1 rbi and 2 runs scored. Alex chipped in going 2-5 2rbi's and 2 runs scored. But the real hitting star of the game was Tiny going 5-5 with 3 runs scored. Next its the Championship against the Dodgers who defeated the Yankees 9-7 in 11 innings. The game will be held at Hansen Damn on Sunday at 12.

Aguilas defeated LaVillita in the first round of the Playoffs by a score of 15-1. George pitched 5 scoreless innings to pick up the win. Joe contributed 3 inning of relief allowing 1 unearned thanks to the play of shortstop Paul who let one go right between his legs allowing the run. Leading the  offensive for the Aguilas Ryan and Art. Art was  4-6 2doubles 1 triple 4 runs scored and 1 rbi. he was a homer short of a cycle. Ryan was 3-4 with a HR, double and single with 4 rbi and 2 SB. 

Playoff notes.

Carlos Gomez making his first appearence since his DL stint on Weight Watchers also delivered.

He was 1-1 with a RBI. Also recording the final out. 

Next up for the Aguilas will be Santa Rita who defeated La Victoria 13-9.

With todays win and San Luis loss the Aguilas are 2012 winterball division champs. Next for the Aguilas is the playoff. The playoffs are set for next week. By the looks of it the Aguilas will start the playoff facing La Villita.

In toadays game Paul Baumstark pitched 8 strong innings allowing 3 runs. Santiago Esparza closed it out for the Aguilas. The hitting stars for the game:  Tiny Gonzales was 2-4 3 rbi's and Art Chavarria 2-3  3b, 2rbi's.
