Lions have strong finish to end of regular season!

In a Saturday & Sunday double header against Parma, the U9 Lions played strong. On Saturday's match the result ended in another tie. The first meeting against Parma earlier in the season resulted in a tie. Entering the game on Sunday, however, the Lions looked like a team with a point to prove, and did so with great form winning 5-1. The Lions led the entire game, scoring five goals and strong on defense, keeping the opponent scoring only one goal the last seconds of the game. Nick and Shane were goal leaders for the weekend with Austin and Nicky adding to the eight goals scored between the two matches. Grant was excellent on defense in both matches, Drew came out with a great showing and improvng in every game. Blake contributed in attacking and is on the verge of becoming a goal maker. Wyland , Nicky and Evan were all impressive through the midfield. Nick and Austin both drew praise from coach their strong defense. Max was again dominating in the goal. This weekend they are looking forward to the Raytown Soccer Club Tournament.
