Holmes pitched six innings, striking out five to improve to 4-1. Tyler Gunnin earned the save by striking out two in one innings’ work. Oconee County’s Connor White was 3-for-4 with two RBIs; Chris Mejias was 2-for-4 with an RBI; Mason Towe was 2-for-3 with an RBI; and David Aiken was 2-for-4 with two runs. Oconee County (10-5, 7-4 8-AAA Division A) hosts Monroe Area at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
