Alex, solid play. Midfield and defense did a good job at stopping attacks. Jennifer stood out with a very good game.
News Article - Second Win - Nov 2, 2009 Congrats to the Silver Bullets on their win on Saturday. They finally played an all around solid game. Every team member contributed to the win. All levels of the team did a great job. Most of all we were able to control the middle third of the field. Lets keep on working to get better. Good Job!
News Article - Rain - No Practice - Oct 13, 2009 Due to the weather there will be no practice today, 10/13/09.
News Article - Silver Bullets - Oct 13, 2009 The Silver Bullets suffered their second loss of the season. The team held up fairly well considering we had no substitutes. We will continue to be short players for the next few weeks. For the next few weeks, we will be inserting everyone at goal for at least 1 quarter.
News Article - First Win - Oct 4, 2009 Congrats on the Silver Bullets first win. The girls played a great solid, full game. Maddie, Chase, Alex, and Valarie were excellent at the forward position. Our midfield was solid as well. The defense did a good job too. The defense allowed two goals on breakaways. The other goal was a result of a penalty shot. Our goalies, Miranda and Valarie played well. For goalies, breakaways and penalty kicks have a low percentage of success in stopping. They handled the adversity well. Good Job Corine, Selena, Alyssa, and Jennifer. Let us keep improving every week. Finish Strong!
News Article - Silver Bullets Tie - Sep 28, 2009 The Silver Bullets tied on Saturday bringing our record to 0-1-1. The team showed improvement over the previous week. Alex got the Silver Bullets on the scoreboard by scoring three goals in the first half. Mariah scored the fourth goal. In the first half the team played great soccer. The midfield and defense played tough. Mariah and Chase really made a huge contribution in the midfield play. Corine really did a good job the first half at middle defense. As far as the second half the team simply ran out of gas. The midfield became a non-factor resulting in three goals with the last goal being scored with 5 seconds left in the game. The team needs to learn how to finish. During this week we will work on conditioning and basic skills. Always Compete!
News Article - Season Opener - Sep 20, 2009 The Silver Bullets suffered their first defeat on Saturday. The loss showed that it is going to have to be a complete team effort to win games. Our overall play needs improvement. The player in my opinion who stood out was Selena. Selena showed great heart throughout the whole game. Good job Selena! We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time. ~Vince Lombardi
