Car Pool at RCHS front enterance, 9am

DATE: 09/19/09 SATURDAY

EVENT TIME:  ARRIVE AT BROOKS LAKE AT 9:30 AM.  EVENT IS FROM 11 AM-4 PM.  YOU ARE EXPECTED TO STAY UNTIL 6:30 PM

ARRIVAL TIME:  9:30 AM

ARRIVAL LOCATION: BROOKS LAKE

EVENT LOCATION: BROOKS LAKE

UNIFORM: KHAKI PANTS (NO CARGOS) and a green shirt will be given to you at the event.  If you want the green shirt it is $6 if not then you can return it.  We will give you a shirt and we will write down your name.  Once the event is over and you are ready to return the shirt you will get you name card back from the supervisor and give them your shirt.

It was great to see all of the new players!!  This is going to be the best year Ever!

Bulldog Lacrosse Academy Camp, "BLAC" - Satrudays At 2pm, Starting Sept 5th, On Bonner Field.

- Fundraisers - Sept 19th and Oct. 10th.
- Fall Conditioning starts in November.
- Tryouts are Feb 2nd to the 19th.

The Fall Program will be underway in September!  This will consist of a JV & Middle School Skill Training for Boy's and Girl's!  Keep an eye out for the announcement!

The Varsity Conditioning program will be in the works soon.  So practice your running and lifting now! 

Every player should be playing "Wall Ball" at least 3 times per week.  Working both your left and right hand.

New Players!!

I wanted to thank all the parents and current players who came to the Open House this week.  I think we really spread the word about lacrosse to the student body.

We had a total of 89 students sign up to participate in Rockdale Lacrosse this year  We need to keep up communication with everyone until the season starts.  Including Fundraising, Conditioning, Saturday Skill Practices, etc..

Thank You Everyone!  You have helped put a strong step forward towards building and expanding the program!

The recruiting trip at the 9th grade Open House was a Great Success!!  A total of 35, 9th grades chose to play lacrosse this Spring!  This is the largest recuiting class in our 7 year history!!  Make sure to give new players a warm welcome.

A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Foster, Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Wright (and the players that helped) for keeping the Lacrosse Booth staffed and Fun!

A player has over twice the chance of getting a women’s Lacrosse scholarship over a women’s basketball scholarship.   **And basketball players make excellent Lacrosse players.
