Regina Rifles Defence Shuts Down Estevan For Road Win
The Regina Junior Rifles defence came up big Friday by shutting down the Estevan Dogs by a score of 23-6. The Rifles remain unbeaten on the road this season. Josh Schwindt, Tanner Francis, Derek Scott, Conner Black and Kevin Orthner lead the Rifles defence. Cody Braddock gets the win in goal and Teddy Yuzicappi shared time in goal as well. Leading the scoring for the Rifles was Jesse Duncan with 6 goals, Tristan Frei with 6 goals, Josh Zimbaluk with 5 goals, Levi Barnstable with 2 goals, Leighton Goebel with 2 goals. Singles came from Spencer Watson and Tanner Francis. Next Rifle action June 23rd in Yorkton.
