STAMPEDE vs. Greendogs Rematch Rained Out

Since capturing their first of two championships (Summer 2008) by taking the first two games of a best of three series at Allen Park versus the Farmingdale Greendogs, the Smithtown STAMPEDE has kept a steady eye on the schedule for another showdown. Saturday, 10/3, was to be the day the Greendogs returned for a doubleheader rematch.

Once again, the weather would not cooperate for baseball to be played today. Ongoing heavy rains, and the resulting flooding of fields has all town ball fields in Smithtown closed for the day. Make up games with Farmingdale will be rescheduled in the near future. Once confirmed, the games will be posted to the schedule.
