Champions for wtl

Today marks the last day of the Winter touch league and we were up against United world collegue for the first and second placing.

First half was led by a 2 point lead by Uwc. Game became more intensed during the second half as we all knew that we had to fight through the remaining 20 minutes. True enough, almost everyone worked harder to bring the scores even closer to a 3-3 draw between both schools.Followed by a sudden death with 5 players remaining on the field. And then shortly after, the field was left with 4 on the field. The final touch down was made by Marli who then brought the game to an end! Tpiranhas have made history. The gold medal was ours to bring home and to add to our collection

All these would not have been achieved without marli's guidance/tolerance/alertness on the field!

All in all, wtl has allowed our players to grow and learn from every game. We hope that we can use these skills and put it into play. Also, not to repeat the same mistakes that we did from this season of wtl but to learn from it. Hopefully, we can achieve to greater things in the upcoming AAS competition!

Lastly, This season's wtl ended off with a high note, and that we should end with a higher note during AAS!
