WFC Thunder

Girls played well and dominated game minus a 10 minute stretch in the second.  Out shooting other team 20 to 8.  Good team play from entire team.

Dominated a very well coached hammer team with great team D and some great individual play on offensive end.  We kept the pressure on them the entire game and out shot  hammer 15 to 8.

Finished a weekend where we played good soccer.  Opened up against Enon (Premier team from dayton playing in the middle division) and had them tied 0-0 for 45 minutes.  Gave up 1 goal and it was 1-0 at the 52 minute mark.  We were then called for a push in the box and the resulting penatly made it 2-0.  At that point we tried to push to score and only left 1 defender and were burnt for 2 in the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game for a 4-0 loss.  Girls played well, we were 0-13 on shots they were 4-15 on shots.  We followed this game by play CU and beat that team 7-0.  We controlled the ball 80% of the time and played well.  Then on Sunday we played Tecumseh and only had 10 girls available.  We shot 1-15 and they shot 1-9 on shots.  They rotated there 14 girls and kept us on our  heels till the last 10.  We scored at 50 minutes and then took 5 shots over the next 10 minutes.  Overall girls Played well given the hand we were dealt.  Played some good teams and all these teams had full 13 or 14 player rosters.  We played with 10 and 11 and did get fatigued in these games but responded and kept slugging back.  Good job ladies.

Girls dominated the CU team but only put in 2 of 23 shots.  Girls played great soccer, we just got to put some shots on frame.  We probally had posseion 90% of the game.  Good job, shots will start to fall.

We recorded a 4-0 shutout on the west side of Cincinnati.  Girls played very well.  Lunsford, Benney, Smith all recorded goals and Massie, Tipton and Balon played outstanding Defense.  Great team win.  Tight 1-0 game going to second half.

Girls played well.  We opened up with a 4-2 loss to the Impact team we had on the ropes at 2-1 but gave up a few due too some coaching mistakes, we generated about equal scoring chances as our opponet.  We followed that a 3-3 tie vs West Milton, we gave up a few easy goals and we pounded the goal.  They scored 3 on 6 shots and we scored 3 on 18 shots.  On Sunday we played the host Springfield team and gave up an early goal and never were able to score an equalizer for a 0-1 loss.  We out shot them 15 to 5.  Just couln't find the net.  Lastly we closed out against the Raging Arrows with a 3-0 win.  They only moved the ball passed the half line 5 or 6 times all game.  We scored 3 on 24 shots.  Good weekend in the sense we were in every game and outplayed our opponets we just need to put the ball in the net and that will come. Kenneda, Willow
