We are now 6-3, still improving each day. The Lady Tigers are growing as a team, a great week went 4-1, three DH next week two on the road and one at home. The girls are hitting the ball, still some bugs to work out. But we will fine. Good Luck This Week.
Softball is not to be played when it's 40 below zero! At least thats the way I feel about it. The game started with lite rain, than snow and the wind blowed from the North Pole. We won the game 14-13, still not warm up may write more when I thaw out.
Lincoln HS came to our little town and thought this would be a good time to get in some practice against a little school. But nobody told our girls that! The first game we beat them 8-7, there Coach was not a happy camper. The next game we lost to them 9-8, the Lady Tigers play hard just came up short. Great Job Lady's.
Old Man Winter is still here, we are only getting one game a week and thats the only time we see a field. Looked good the first three innings then the wheels fall off the truck, Gilmer Co. our worst nightmare desided to kick our tails and we let them. The score was 3-2 in the third we was up and then we forgot how to play softball, the score after 5 innings Gilmer Co. 11 and just 3 for the Lady Tigers. We will see them again.
Went to Tyler with hopes of a good start to this Season, looked good for the first time on the field. The weather was not being softball freindly old man winter will not go away. Coach Hill girls played hard, need some practice time to work the bugs out, we will take a nice win 10-1. Good start LADYS.
It’s always about wanting to one-up myself from the day before. There’s never an absolute 100% perfect performance, but going out and striving for that perfect performance is what keeps me going.
