The Season Is Over

We went to Glenville with high hopes again this year, we played Calhoun Co. first game. Took awhile to get going but we warmed up, Just a side note ( Coaches teach your players to call each other off if its there ball, I hope I never see two girls run together like that again, PLEASE.) After a hour delay we played the rest of the game my hats off to the players from Calhoun Co. they never gave up of there season, we won 15-0. Now for the rerun of last year, we had to beat Gilmer Co. twice to move on to play in the Regionals, we could not get a two hits in a row, and nothing went right, so First Game Score Gilmer 11 Wirt 2. Not the way the Coaches wanted it to go I'm sure, the Second Game was just as bad Gilmer Co. 11 Wirt Co. 0. I feel sorry for the girls who wanted to move on, but we will regroup and try again next year.
