Marie-eve Lemiuex a Canadian who after completing her masters in International Development went to establish her self in Ghana. After realizing little was done in Ghana to encourage the youth to positively use their energy and being a basketball lover, we decided to create a "saturday basketball league". At first, it was for the pleasure of it, but the number of children kept increasing continuously. we went from Fifty (50) to over one hundren (100) children in the span of four (4) months. However, as it turns, our journey was only begining. In May 2011, ABaCoDe Ghana was chosen amongst foru(4) other projects as one of the promising social enterprise in Ghana. The fellowship was reveived by Playing For Change Sweden, an organisation linking cooperate world with social entrepreneurs in selected countries.
