Welcome to the new website for Algester Hawks Basketball Club Inc. We have teams from Under 8's through to Under 20's in the Juniors and Senior Men's & Women's teams. Our governing Association is South Western Metro Basketball Inc. - better known in South East Queensland as "The Pirates". We are located south west of Brisbane City and play out of Runcorn Sports Centre, the State Netball Centre at Mt Gravatt and Calamvale Community College. All our Club trainings are done at Algester Primary School in their Activities Hall. The entrance is off Ridgewood Rd. Darrell, Jordan, Boyo & I will be shaving our heads - Sonny Au will also be doing airbrush tattoos. Please donate for a worthy cause!
News Article - 2010 Basketball Seasons - Dec 28, 2009 Sign-On Day for the 2010 Hawks Basketball year will be held on Saturday 30 January 2010 at Runcorn Sports Centre from 8.30am to Midday. Season 1 will commence 5/6 February and finish just prior to the June school holidays. Season 2 will commence after the June school holidays and finish late November.
