The Allatoona JV Buccaneers team is looking forward to an exciting season!
We will build on the fundamentals that Coach Hansen stresses to the High School team - physical conditioning, academics and making good choices. We will use these guidelines throughout the season to help our players understand what it takes to be successful student athletes. We look forward to another great year of Allatoona JV Buccaneer Baseball!
Sep 10, 2012 - Bucs lose close one to North Cobb
Allatoona falls to North Cobb Warriors 5-4 in spite of McCloskey's performance.Cam McCloskey did all he could to give Allatoona a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past North Cobb Warriors, as Allatoona lost 5-4 in six innings at Allatoona on Monday. McCloskey had a hot bat for Allatoona. McCloskey went 1-1, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning. #8 recorded the win for North Cobb Warriors. He allowed two runs over one inning. #8 struck out one, walked four and gave up one hit. North Cobb Warriors didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a sacrifice fly by #9 and a steal of home by #2. North Cobb Warriors posted one run in each of the third, fourth and fifth. In the third, North Cobb Warriors scored on a steal of home, bringing home #2. After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the third, Allatoona faced just a 3-2 deficit. An RBI double by McCloskey and a sacrifice fly by Canin Lukeset off Allatoona rally. Finally, #7 got Chris Funk to fly out to end the threat. After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the fifth, Allatoona faced just a 5-4 deficit. Sep 5, 2012 - JV Bucs lose home opener Allatoona outmuscled by Alpharetta Raiders, 10-0Allatoona fell 10-0 to the Alpharetta Raiders at Allatoona on Wednesday. Allatoona was led by Tripp Robinson's hitting. Robinson went 1-1. He singled in the fourth inning. Agard recorded the win for the Alpharetta Raiders. He pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered one hit. Alba, Seebohm, Rowlinson and Rhinehart helped lead the Alpharetta Raiders. They combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
