Coach Schuld was a 3 year starter for Armstrong High School and helped lead the Falcons to 2 state tournament berths, and 1 Classic Lake Conference Championship. He holds many AHS career pitching records including both ERA and Strikeouts. After his successful high school career Matt was a 4 year starter for the University of St. Thomas where he led the Tommies to a National Championship his junior season. Matt holds several career pitching records for the Tommies and was both All MIAC and a Division 3 All American. After his college career with the Tommies Matt signed a free agent contract with the Minnesota Twins. Matt played in the GCL for the Twins along with the Ft. Myers Miracle in his first season. His second season in the minor leagues Matt played for the Miracle in A ball and the AA New Britain Rock Cats. Matt has done many baseball clinics and works with players individually as well. He joins the Falcon coaching staff this season with great excitment to bring his wealth of knowledge to the players.
