Our Armstrong Falcons played an errorless game to defeat Benilde-St. Margaret 5-0 and advance in the 6AAA Sectional Tournament!

Saturday, 6/1/13, we're back in the Metrodome to play #5 seed Hopkins at 11:30am.  The winner goes on to play again at 2pm.

Reminders:

• Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students, which is good for the whole day
• FREE parking is available in the Metrodome parking lot located on the East side of the stadium off of 11th Avenue  
• Enter the stadium through Gate D

All remaining teams are now in a double elimination situation.  The Falcons lost one and then won one on Memorial Day to continue advancing in the 6AAA Sectional Tournament.

*** UPDATE:  Our next game is on Thursday, 30 May 2013, at noon in the Metrodome.  The Falcons will play #4 seed Benilde-St. Margaret.

Armstrong defeated Holy Angels in a nail biter, bottom of the 7th win!  Our Falcons advance to the second round of the 6AAA Sectional Tournament.

Come cheer on the Falcons as they take on #3 seed Edina on Monday, 27 May 2013, at 4pm in the Metrodome!  Tickets will be $10 for adults and $8 for students, which is good for the whole day.

The #6 seed Falcons will open up Section 6AAA play on Saturday, 25 May 2013, vs. #11 seed Holy Angels (NOTE NEW TIME) at 2:00 pm at Alimagnet Park in Burnsville.  Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for students.

If we win Saturday, we advance to play #3 seed Edina at the Metrodome on Monday, 27 May 2013 at 4pm.  Tickets will be $10 for adults and $8 for students, which is good for the whole day.  This higher admission fee offsets the cost of renting the dome.

As is tradition, we finish off the season with our banquet prior to the playoffs, to celebrate another great year of AHS Baseball.  Our banquet honors our players and says thank you to the parents for all you've done this season.  All baseball players, coaches, families and friends are invited.

The banquet is casual with a BBQ theme - Hot dogs, hamburgers, and sides provided.

Parents of Juniors coordinate the banquet.  Please contact Debbie Kosidowski for details.

Freshman families:  Please bring 2-12 packs of cold pop or water in a cooler

Sophomore families:  Please bring a pan of brownies, bars, or cookies

Parents should plan to attend this meeting.  Schedules, etc will be handed out.  Players need not attend.

***UPDATE:  A few more items need to be finalized, so the Baseball Apparel Store will not be "open" until after 5pm on March 26th.

The 2013 Armstrong Varsity Baseball Apparel store will be open March 25th and will close for online orders on April 5th.  Please expect 3 weeks for production of items.
