Tryouts

Baseball tryouts are from 19-23 March 2012

Players MUST be cleared by the Athletic office by 19 March 2012 BEFORE the end of the school day.  To be cleared, you must have the following items:

• Emergency card
• MSHSL paperwork
• Updated physical on file
• No outstanding fines/books/athletic equipment

* See Sharon in the Athletic Office to make sure you are all cleared to try out

Tryout procedure:

• Mon, Tues, Wed are split between returners and non-returners
• Thur, Fri will be with all players at the Plymouth Dome
• 1st round of cuts may be made on Thurs
• We will be doing both skill and fitness tests during tryouts
• Late night hitting will be by invitation and announced each day

Monday, 3/19/12

Returners  2:30-5pm at Armstrong gyms - Live hitting by invite 7:30-9pm

Non-Returners  2:30-4:30pm at Plymouth Dome (Check-in begins at 2:30pm; we don't have the Dome until 3pm)

Tuesday, 3/20/12

Returners  3-4:30pm at Plymouth Dome - Live hitting by invite 7:30-9pm

Non-Returners  2:45-5pm at Armstrong gyms

Wednesday, 3/21/12

Returners  3-4:30pm at Plymouth Dome - Batting cage session by invite 7:30-8:30pm

Non-Returners  2:45-5pm at Armstrong gyms

Thursday, 3/22/12

All Players  3-4:30 at Plymouth Dome - 1st round of cuts will be made - Live hitting by invite 7:30-9pm

Friday, 3/23/12

All Remaining Tryout Players 3-4:30pm at Plymouth Dome - 2nd round of cuts, if necessary - Live hitting by invite 7:30-9pm

NOTES:

1. Players must be able to get their own ride to/from the Plymouth dome
2. Time or places may change depending on weather, etc.  Please listen to announcements at troyouts.
