We had a slow start to our morning matches and ending our run for Competition Division Championship with a 28th place finish.  Even with our slow start, we achieved so much growth as individuals and as a team.  I'm very proud of the work we accomplished and I wish everyone to keep working hard, have a great attitude, and committing yourself to having an excellent summer! Thank you to all the parents that supported the players throughout this summer and I hope to see all of you at Kingdom Courts this fall for the 2012-2013 season!

What a good day it was!  Yes, we lost to some teams we should have beat, BUT we accomplished a couple of goals:

1. Win a match for our birthday lady (You know who you are...)
   
2. Improve our seed number (we are now ranked 27th!)
3. Play for Competition Division, which is better than last year's record!
4. Improve our passing and hitting stats!

We are playing in the Competition Division for 25th place. Let's be focused for our last day of competition and win some hardware to take home!

With Day THREE completed we move up to 27th seed for Saturday.  We play at 8:00 a.m. in the SOUTH BUILDING of the convention center, Court 3.  Please have the players be at the South Building, Court 3 by 7:00 a.m. We will be wearing YELLOW shirts and we are projecting to be done around 1:00 pm.  Get a good night's rest and have a semi-relaxed morning and be ready to battle for the top position! This is for the Competition Division!

It was a long and tough day of playing.  We faced some very tough CA teams that passed and attacked the ball efficiently and we couldn't find our groove. We had some struggles with serving, BUT had some awesome defense from the front row when we needed blocking and in the backrow when we need tough defense.   We need to improve our passing stats and be very focused on Day 3 to move forward and up in the rankings.

With Day Two completed we retained our 30th seed for Friday.  We play at 9:00 a.m. in the SOUTH BUILDING of the convention center, Court 11.  Please have the players be at the South Building, Court 11 by 8:00 a.m. We will be wearing BLACK shirts and we are projecting to be done around 2:45 pm.  Get a good night's rest and have a semi-relaxed morning and be ready to battle for the top position!
