Last spring's tornadoes caused $1.3 million in

damages to the East Limestone athletic facilities.

Buckhorn Middle School hosted an area tournament this past weekend and raised over $2,000.00 to donate to East Limestone School to help them rebuild their facility that was destroyed during the April 27th tornados of last year.

Coach Philip Creasy, Coach Amanda Marks and the entire coaching staff would like to thank everyone for helping out in this great cause.

Coach Creasy stated today "We wanted to come out and show our support for the community of East Limestone.  It could have been any of us in that situation, you never know how lucky you are until you put yourself in someone else's shoes.  We were just glad that we could help in any way possible and wish to thank all the teams that took part in our tournament.  All the money raised will be going directly to East Limestone School."
