The Blue Ridge Bears beat the visiting Metro Maple Leafs 4-1 in the first official meeting of the two teams for the season. Hunter scored 2 goals for the Bears, and Silas and Gunnar each added one more. Assists were awarded to Michael (2) and Jacob. The Bears took 44 shots. Bears goalie Sam had 13 saves.
