Ridgeland blanked by Bucs
Acworth, GA Allatoona (17-6, 13-4) continued their winning ways with a 10-0 five inning victory over the Ridgeland Panters. Allatoona scored early & often in the game with six runs in the first three innings to put the game out of reach of the visiting Panthers. Michael Royal(4-2) threw four innings of one hit baseball to get the victory and Nick Hall closed the fifth striking out the side. Clate Schmidt led the way at the plate for the Bucs with a single, double & triple while driving in three runs. The Bucs will make their final road trip of the regular season to Cartersville on Monday looking for revenge for their earlier season loss to the Canes at Buccaneer Field. Game-time will be at 5:55pm at Richard Bell Field.
