2011 Barre, Vermont Youth SoccerThe Barre community has an active soccer program for area youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This year over 460 children are focusing on skill building with an emphasis on team work, fair play, and fun. Schedules and field directions are on this site. Link to the age group tag on the left and find contact and field information for your team. Due to privacy issues, we will not list the rosters online. Are you or someone you know willing to volunteer? We still need referees! Please e-mail Mike if you are available to help out a little or a lot! Click here to print the Registation form. The Kindergarten Clinic for children 4, 5 and 6 does not require advanced registration. Looking for more information about Barre Youth Soccer, or would you like to volunteer? contact us
Aug 31, 2011 - Waiting List Too late? Maybe not. There's a waiting list and YOU can be on it! Everyone that registered ontime will be divided onto teams in the next few weeks. The volunteer coordinators will be doing that, making coaching assignments and field arrangements over the next couple of weeks. All of the children that registered on time will hear from their coaches as to practice nights and game schedules after Sept. 1st. All others will be placed on the waiting list- in the order their registration was received. We did order some extra equipment, so if for some reason you were not able to get your registration in on time, fill it out now and be on the top of the list. Aug 19, 2011 - Capital Soccer Offers Options
Capital Soccer, a premier private club serving our area, is offering a fall program for soccer atheletes. Beginning the week of Sept. 7, boys & girls teams at the U-14 level and below will get the opportunity to train twice weekly at their fields in Waterbury and play in a weekend scrimmage or exhibition game. Included in the training program will be participation in two tournaments. The first tournament will be CSC’s own inaugural tournament, the second a Columbus Day tournament out of state.
The Fall Program is the next step for the Capital Soccer Club as they endeavor to provide an elite year round soccer program. Check out their website to find out more. Capital Soccer is also offering Fall Clinics in Montpelier available to those who want extra instruction each week.

There is no registration deadline for the Kindergaten program, and there are still openings on the jr. high teams. For more information you may call Leslie at 479-1835. Aug 6, 2011 - Registration deadline hours away!!! In a matter of a few hours we will close the registration process for the BYSA fall teams, and it will be TOO LATE TO GET KIDS onto teams for this year. The registration deadline is important becasue we need to be sure we have enough equipment and tee-shirts, lined field, coaches and volunteers to have a safe and successful program. There is no limit on the kindergarten clinic, and registration for that will remain open throughout the season. Jul 6, 2011 - No Title Wet and wild spring left us flat footed without the "registration night" we were hoping for! Not to worry- The registration flyers are printed, and were mailed to everyone on the mailing list. If you didn't get one, please open the registration posted on this website and send it in right away. If you want a printed copy they are available at Barre City & Barre Town Schools, the city & town recreation departments, the city pool, and at Aubuchon Hardware in downtown Barre. Do get them back as soon as you can, so we can order enough equipment for everyone.
