Carroll High School "Lady Eagles," win Thanksgiving Tournament
The Lady Eagles, of Carroll High School defeated the Jaguars of Barbour County to win Ozarks Holiday Classic 43-37. This lost was the Lady Jaguars first lost of the season. Senior center Tia Faleru led the Lady Eagles with 23 points, while sophomores Kadaleus Gissendanner and Brittany Moore chipped in 9 and 7 respectfully. Senior guard Debra Jackson led the Lady Eagles with 9 assist and 9 steals. The Lady Jaguars was led by Larita George who scored 13 points and Tiffany Brooks who added 8 points. This win helped the Lady Eagles improve their record to 5-1 under Head coach Len Stanford and Anthony Carter.
