On April 8 - 9 Lake Varsity Tennis competed at the District Tournament  at Clear Springs High School.  Congratulations to these winners who are moving on to Regionals: .Paul Wu, District Champion, Boys Singles ; Mason Roberts and Russell Bell, District Champions, Boys Doubles; Jordan Fandry and Holly Cook, District Champions, Girls Doubles  and Asahi Watanabe and Marcela Ocon, District Runner-ups, Mixed Doubles!

We still need more volunteers in order to make our annual Tennis Banquet a successful, memorable event for all the players.  The banquet is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at Space Center Houston and is a fun night for all Clear Lake High School players and their guests.

Below is a listing of the committees and a description of the duties involved.  Please review the committee descriptions and then contact Kim Tran, Banquet Chairperson, to join the banquet committee.

We are seeking parents from all teams to help us make this the best banquet possible.

Banquet Program Committee–

- Compile the banquet program - Coordinate the team pictures and individual pictures - Collect Ads and money - Coordinate the senior bios and baby pictures– tying with the senior scholarship application - Create the collage for all teams.

Invitation Committee - Prepare the Invitations and Mail-out.

Ticket Committee - Responsible for tracking the RSVPS and collecting money.

Check-In Committee - Need 6 people to help with check-in at banquet.

Clear Lake defeated Clear Creek 10-5 in this weekend's District 24-5A Team Tennis Postseason Tournament held at Clear  Lake High School on Saturday, October 20.  Congratulations to Coach Heim, and Coach Jordan and the Lake Tennis Team!

Clear Lake had already clinched a Class 5A Region III berth and a spot in the 24-5A tournament finals by winning the regular season district title and will be moving on to the 5A Region III Tournament  October  26 - 27 at Deer Park High School.

Leaders for the Falcons are senior boys  Paul Wu and Russell Bell, and juniors Asahi Watanabe, Ashok Sankaran, Mason Roberts and Mauricio Sotomayor  and senior girls  Holly Cook, Marcela Ocon and Priya Gandhi, and junior Jordan Fandry.
