Tide Captures Spot for NE Champs!

The harriers from Concord High kept the ball rolling at the 2009 New Hampshire Meet of Champions, successfully capturing one of six treasured spots for next week’s New England XC Championships in Wickham, CT.

Paced by a pair of outstanding top-10 performances by Antoine Gisore (7^th, 15:50) and  Steven Ndisabiye  (8^th, 15:50), the Tide gathered 149 points for a 5^th place finish.  Makopa Rugabirwa (39^th, 16:48) flew across the line as the Tide’s 3^rd man, as the 4^th (Camden Black-Ingersoll , 17:08),  5^th  (Chaz Munroe , 17:16) and 6^th (Sean Ferry , 17:16) runners clumped together nicely down the ultimate straightaway to ensure the continuation of the team’s season. Sophomore Ian Greene finished as the race’s 77^th scorer (17:43) to round out the Tide's 7.
