Due to the heavy rainfall and poor field conditions, practices are cancelled for all teams slated to practice on a GRASS FIELD tonight.  Practices are NOT cancelled for U13 and U15 teams using the TURF FIELD.  In the event that the weather deterioates, individual U13 and U15 coaches will email their teams with a cancellation notice.

In the event of future inclement weather conditions, please refer to the Creeks Boys Lacrosse web site for updates regarding practice cancellations.  Cancellation notices will be posted no later than 5:00 pm.

• Game cancellations will be relayed to teams via their head coach or Age Division Commissioners. There are no make up games due to weather cancellations.

• In the event of lightning during practice...

• There is a lighting detection system at Julington Creek Plantation Park. If the lightning detection system activates and a warning is sounded, everyone must clear the fields immediately. No one may return to the fields until the all-clear sound has been made (approximately 30 mins. after the last detected lighting strike). If the all-clear sound has not sounded within 45 minutes, practice is cancelled for that practice time slot.
• There are no lighting detection systems at Durbin Crossing Park or Aberdeen Park. If practice is being held at one of these fields and lightning is seen by anyone (coaches, players, parents, etc) at any time, practice is cancelled and everyone must clear the field.
