This site will be used to keep team members and friends updated on schedules and events relating to Druid Hills Youth Football. We plan to have teams for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12u kids. Ages are determined as of July 31, 2009. Practices will begin in late July at Druid Hills High School in Atlanta. Home games will be played at Druid Hills High School.
Cheerleading
We plan to have a cheerleading squad for each age group, generally based on grade levels. Squads will have high quality uniforms and will cheer for the football games, but will not cheer in separate competitions. Practices will start at the beginning of August, and there will be one practice per week that includes all of the age groups practicing together. CAMP INFORMATION
CAMP TIMES: 9:00am – 3:00pm. Campers should arrive by 8:45am and be picked up no later than 3:15pm. Bonus Camp lasts until 5:00pm and costs $10 per day.
AGES: Camp is for boys 6-12 years old
COST: $175.00 per camper
INSURANCE: The camp provides accidental insurance on each camper
LUNCH: Each Camper is to provide his own lunch and drink. Fluids will be provided for breaks during camp sessions. Bonus campers should bring an additional snack.
APPAREL: Football cleats are preferred. Make sure new shoes are broken in before camp to avoid blisters. Baseball caps and sunscreen help prevent sunburn. T-shirts with sleeves, shorts and socks are recommended.
T-SHIRTS: Camp t-shirts will be provided for each camper.
CANCELLATION: Refunds will only be available if requested prior to the camp start date, subject to a $20 administrative fee.
ENROLLMENT: Enrollment is limited to 200 campers.
