Aug. 10, 2009 FLORIDA FOOTBALL ALLIANCE REFEREE ASSOCIATION! PRESENTS THE 2009 NFL RULE CHANGES!
..The Florida Football Alliance Referee Association (FFARA) has announced the 2009 NFL rule changes. In the FFA when new NFL rule changes come out they are immediately adopted to the FFA rules. The FFA follows NFL rules and uses these rules as a strict guideline for all sanctioned, official FFA season games. The NFL spends millions of dollars on research for safety rules every year. It is important that we take advantage of the NFL findings and use them as a model for our own safety measures....said FFA VP of Officials Alex Barinaga. Some of the highlights are changes to special teams, new roughing the passer rules and blind side safety measures. Please see the link below for the new 2009 NFL rules changes:
