        In addition to the Saturday clinics that continue on for the next two weeks please note the following;

Pitching camp - Feb 27th - Beginners 1:00 to 2:00pm, Experienced 2:15 to 3:15pm

Hitting camp - Mar 14th - 4th & 5th graders 1:00 - 2:00pm, 6th thru 8th grade 2:15 - 3:15pm

You may switch times regardless of player's age if more convenient.  Clinics are in the old Watterson gym.

Parents and youth coaches clinic sponsored by the Central District High School Softball Coaches Assoc. that is held at Watterson on March 6th from 1:00 - 5:00pm in the old gym.  The cost is $10 and is designed for adults who want to improve their knowledge of the game.

Watterson Grade School Winter Camp Schedule

All feeder school players are invited to attend free winter softball camps held at the old Watterson gym on the following Sataurdays.  The camps will cover all softball skills. If unable to attend at the scheduled time for their age group, please feel free to have them attend the other age groups session.

Pitchers and catchers come for the first 40 minutes and all players the last 1-1/2 hour.

Pitchers should bring an adult to catch them.

Parents are encouraged to attend the camps with their daughters.

10 and under 11:00-1:00, Pitcher and catcher instruction 11:00-11:40, all other players 11:30-1:00

12 and 14 under 1:00-3:00, Pitcher and catcher instruction1:00-1:40, all other players 1:30-3:00

        Fo;r the 2009 summer season 10 new records were set.  Emily Maurer was the big winner with her name in the record books 7 times.  Marissa, Ellen and Katie Devine all had one.  See the list of records under Statistics.
