Don't forget - the Freedom Lacrosse Car Wash is scheduled for this Saturday, May 5th from 12:30-5:00pm at the Lafayette Ambassador Bank on the corner of Easton Ave & Santee.  The second Car Wash will be held at the same location on Sunday, May 20th from 12:00 - 4:00pm.

The Pates came out on the losing end to another strong lvc team. Ryan Skae led the offense with 3 goals and an assist and Devon Hall chipped in a goal. Dalton Laut did an admirable job in goal surrendering 13 goals but making 14 saves. The Pates started off slow before settling down and making it competetive. The Pates return to practice tomorrow to get ready for their next two games against lvc power houses Emmaus and allentown Central Catholic.

Freedom opened the season with a loss to a very strong Nazareth team led by UMBC commit Grant Searfoss. Freedom Goals were scored by Skae (2) Hall (1) with assists by Driscoll (2) and Rich (1). The Pates hope to regroup for their next game Monday at Easton.

The Pates closed out the scrimmage season with a 10-7 loss to twin valley. The Pates fought back from a 5-2 deficit to take a 7-5 lead only to see twin valley pull away to a 10 7 victory. The Pates offense was led by Ryan Skae 4 goals 3 assists,Devon Hall 2 goals, Drew Gugliuzza 1 goal, and Brendan Driscoll 3 assists. The offensive middies and attack moved the ball well and got a lot of quality looks and shots that just didn't fall making strong contributions were Jason Lillie, Nathan Vanbuskirk, Andrew Wirth, CJ Erie, Ryan Stranzl, Pierce Giamportone, and Nick Kopko. Jr Corlette, JJ Rich, and Kyle Roche were strong again at the face off x. Our defense played well led by Mike Salzarulo,Conor Gawlik, Brandon Gubich, Drew Gugliuzza and Nathan Vanbuskirk who grabbed a long pole in man down situations. Dalton Laut had another good game between the pipes and made some outstanding saves. The Pates are now setting their sights on the season opener march 23rd against Nazareth.
