Lady Pates Lose to P'Burg in 2nd Season ScrimmageMar. 17, 2012 FHS Women's Lacrosse experienced a tough loss to Phillipsburg last night in their second season outing. The first half was dominated by a strong P'Burg attack and incredible goaltending. Freshman Goalie, Hayley Krauss, had a decent outing with 4 Saves against 18 Shots on Goal (SOG) during the first half. FHS came to play the second half with great performances on defense led by Soph Goalie Sam Rodriguez with 6 Saves against 9 SOG. Game Highlights include Defensive Captain Senior Kathryn Fodale with 4 Caused Turnovers (CTO) and 1 Interception (INT); Sophs Brianna Totten and Velisa Li, both with 1 CTO and 1 INT each; and Soph Toni Spadafora with a CTO. The Midfield and Attack had very strong showings from Midfield Captain Soph Macey Walker (1 Goal, 7 SOG, 1 CTO), Soph Brenna Dosedlo (1 Goal, 6 SOG, 2 INT), Freshman Lauren Musselman (1 Assist, 2 SOG, 3 CTO, 1 INT), Attack Captain Soph Natalie Rold (3 SOG); Midfield Captain Soph Erin Healy (2 SOG, 1 CTO); and a SOG from first year player, Soph Brianna Ford.
