Another Tough Loss for Freedom

The Freedom Women looked very competitive throughout the first half with strong defense and goals from Natalie Rold (assisted by Megan Lillie), Macey Walker and Laura Fodale.  Things started to fall apart in the second half with a seamingly endless stream of one-sided calls from the officials.  Macey and Natalie rallied hard on offense with 7 and 9 shots on goal, respectively.  In the end, we saw another key player succumb to a check to the head.  On a positive note, the entire team played with their hearts and "did one thing different" to help improve their individual games.  FINAL SCORE:  Freedom 7 - ACC 13
