"FIRST COAST CARDINALS GET THE BRETT HART TREATMENT"

The First Coast Cardinals have been very impressive in their inaugural season thus far defeating top notch team after top notch team demanding the world show them the respect they deserve. Saturday February 20th the Cards were preparing to take on the Georgia Rattlers in a game the Cardinals felt they had in the bag. As the 7:00pm both teams were prepared for kick off but one this was missing, the officials. As heartbroken players and fans exited the stadium the Cardinals could feel something in the air of the night. After speaking with the league president and the league board voting, the First Coast Cardinals were given their 1st mark in the L column of the 2010 season. But do not fear Cardinal fans this has done nothing but make the Cardinals stronger, "That just means everybody is gonna have to get it, we got screwed man. Our chances at an undefeated season taken away, weather the teams we face had anything to do with it or not they gonna have to feel us." said offensive lineman Taurus Epting. If you thought the Cardinals played with a chip on their shoulder before, they'll be playing with the entire Doritos factory on their backs. The Cardinals will right this wrong against every opponent they face from here on out.  

ATTENTION MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL: If your not on the First Coast Cardinals bandwagon I suggest you jump on now before all the seats are taken.

"CARDINALS KNOCKS OFF #1 RANKED FIREBIRDS"

The First Coast Cardinals have started off the season undefeated but going into Saturday felt they had something to prove. Not to them selves but to the league, the teams in it, the nation, the Firebirds, the city of Jacksonville, God almighty, Alphonzo from the corner store, the ball boy Omar, and any body else on the face of gods beautiful green earth who doubted them. Saturday they did just that, they First Coast Cardinals traveled to Tifton, Ga to take on the #1 ranked (#6 in the country) Georgia Firebirds. This game was exactly what it was built up to be, a true NIFL shoot out pitting the leagues #1 defense against the leagues #1 scoring offense. The Cardinals took the field and showed they belong on the big stage, they showed they belong with the big boys, but most of all they simply just showed "Hey, we in here!". The Cardinals will go back home this week to begin preparation for this weeks game against the Georgia Rattlers. The Cardinals will be at home so Jacksonville come out and show your support, dawn the red and black, and scream "Go Cardinals" as we take the field for battle.

"FIRST COAST CARDINALS SEND TWO PLAYERS TO COLLEGE"

The First Coast Cardinals are the youngest team in Jacksonville FL, but are already opening doors for their players. Corner back Greg Pollard (#24) & Wide receiver Marcus Hicks (#3) both received scholarships to Kentucky Christian University. These two young all-stars will be greatly missed both on the field and in the locker room but the Cardinals family wishes them the best on their journey to the next level. This is just the first of many for the First Coast Cardinals as they plan to get everyone they can to the next level. "I don't want you on my roster more than two seasons" says FCC owner Craig Bennett "don't get me wrong its not that I don't like my players, I just want whats best for them. If you have the talent & dedication my staff and I will do everything in our power to get you to the next level. But its you who has to put in the work".
