FISTPUMPERS vs BLACKOUT 9/20/09

In game 1 vs Pumpers of Fists looked to get their first win of the season. Mike Baker was penciled in as the starting 3B for game 1 when a last second line up change required him to pitch. Baker was absolutely dominate and at times. The FP got back their highly paid free agent 1B/3B/OF Dave Mucciariello from personal leave last week and he went 6-6 4 RBI and 5 Runs in the two games. He was quoted as saying "I COULD OF SIGNED WITH ANYBODY THIS YEAR BUT CHOSE THE PUMPERS."  The Pumpers beat the Blackout in Game 1 by a score of 16-3.

In game 2 vs the Blackout once again Mike Baker was forced pitch. Baker went out and struck out 6. He also helped his own cause by going 5-7, 2 RBI, with 2R. The youngsters once again played well head lined by Joey Stern going a crazy 7-9 11 RBI's and 6R in the two games. Ignetito, Mannino and Fatarusso went a combined 6-16. Mike Campisi played out of his mind in RF and at the plate.Campisi went 3-8 and made a ridiculous running catch that could of ended his softball career if he would of collided with Fatarsso. Joe Loverde also had 2 RBI an 5R scored but made a total bone headed base running play when he tried to steal home in softball. When asked about his play he responded "THE UMPIRE TOLD ME TO GO." The Fistpumpers won 28-6 and will play SMOKIN ACES next week to try to get about 500.

Fistpumpers vs Wackoz Game 2

In game two of the Pumpers fall season included the return of Nick Rentas who pitched amazing after coming off his off season injury. Rentas was threw extremely hard and was in control but once again silent bats and errors doomed the Pumpers. Joey Stern continued his hot hitting in the lead off spot while Louie Zacharides played tremendous defense. The Pumpers look to bounce back next week and take two from team Black Out on Sunday September 20th @ 8:00 am. The return of Dave Mucciariello and some other free agent signings will definitely help the cause.

Fistpumpers vs Wackoz Game 1

The Fistpumpers open their Fall 09 Season with 16-6 stomping at the hands of the Wackoz. Mike Baker pitched amazing but the Fistpumpers defense and ill advised throws doomed him. Baker was in control of the game with a 5-0 lead with homers from himself and joe loverde. But just as in typical Evil Empire fashion the defense absolutely collapsed. The Pumpers look to get back starters Dave Mooch and Dom Nowrocki as soon as possible.
