FIU Women's Rugby Club

The Florida International University Women’s Rugby Club is currently ranked #1 within the Division 2 Women’s Rugby League in the state. We stand to represent Florida International University and bring the first Women’s Rugby National Championship trophy to Our School, Our City, Our State! We have done all that we can on the field to get us to this point. Now, we are asking for your support. Support that will allow us to continue our journey from the upcoming USA Rugby’s South Championships in Georgia, to the National playoffs in Pennsylvania, and Finally the USA Rugby Women’s Collegiate National Championships in California.

We've played a great season this fall.

Winning the majority of our games, being named second in the state of Florida and first in our division,

FIU Women's Rugby Club has made a name for itself.

September 29: FIU vs UF (AWAY GAME)

October 6: FIU vs FGCU (HOME GAME)

October 13: FIU vs UM (HOME GAME)

October 20: ALL FLORIDA DAY RUGBY TOURNAMENT (TAVARES)

November 3: FIU vs USF (AWAY GAME)

November 10: FIU vs FGCU (AWAY GAME)

November 17: FIU vs FAU (HOME GAME)

If you're unable to make it or have a prior engagement, please contact me or any member of the E-board asap.

We will also be starting Mon. & Wed. morning conditioning 7am-9am at the Intermural Fields.

Welcome to the 2012 Fall season of Women's Collegiate Rugby at Florida International University.

Our club is open to all and no prior experience is required.

We will be having practice on the IM fields for the begininning of the season:

Tuesday Aug. 28th

Tuesday Sept. 4th

Thursday Sept. 6th.

Afterwards, we will continuing practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Tamiami Park, 5:45-8:45pm

Last year's executive board was reelected for the upcoming 2012 season with the addition of a new recruitment chair.
