Malia began playing soccer through the Red Star Juniors program. She joined Coach Duke when he put together the Red Star Robins, and later she transitioned to a Hawk.

Malia plays an aggressive and relentless style, constantly attacking the defense. Her serious attitude on the field belies a fun-loving nature off it, and she's proven to be a very valued member of the team.
