Huskies pound threw the Rangers,To set up showdown with the Champs.Nov. 7, 2009 Hanford-The Hanford Huskies power there way threw the visiting Visalia Rangers for the second time this season.The Rangers jump on the score board first with a little help by a Husky offsides penalty.Then the defense held tuff threw out the game just giving up another touchdown in the third.The Husky offense stuck to what got them this far,the run.Lead by runnings backs Mario cruz and Francisco Ramirez.Ramirez had a 39 yard touchdown run after the half,running up the left sideline.Then another Td to put the Huskies up for good in the fourth, with an 45 yarder up the middle of the Ranger defense.Ramirez finished with 13 carries for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns.Mario cruz pounded the Ranger defense almost every time he touched the ball, finishing every run with a little extra bang.Cruz got the Huskies going with there first touchdown of the game with a 4 yard dive up the middle of that Ranger defense.Cruz finished with another 100 yard game, Cruz had 127 yards with 17 carries and a touchdown.Coming into this game Cruz needed 5 yards for 1000, he now has 1,122 yards and 16 touchdowns for the season.The Huskies will have a tuff challenge next week,playing at the number 2 seed and the three time in a row AVYFL champions Tulare Tarheels.The Tarheels defeated the Huskies 16-6 in there season game.
