At the same time the Beer are the highest scoring team in the league ( 463 runs ). Despite the success the Beer still feel they arent playing to their potential. All 5 games they lost they had a chance to win. Losing in the finals in both of their last tournament appearances the club looks forward to competing in Okotoks at the end of the month and also will be appearing in the Canadian World Series for the second year in a row.

The club has decided to let go of Left Fielder Kyle McGregor and Pitcher Harry Berger. In exchange the club received Fielder Josh "Lord Tunderin" Wakelin who played AAA in Prince Edward Island and Infielder Pierre "Tabernak" Sabourin.

It shows how eager the team is to hit the field this upcoming season. Its not to often the club has a practice. The Beer will soon again be hooking up but this time at the batting cages next weekend.
