The Fighting Illini at Div. 1 WCLA Regionals

Set to play the same team they lost 22-3 at Regionals last year, the Illini were ready to give Miami (OH) all they had this time around. Fighting back from a 7-2 deficit in the first half, the Illini came back during the second half, outscoring Miami (OH) 5-2. Unfortunately the Illini could not secure the win, and lost 8-11. They then went on to beat Ohio University 11-10 in their last game of the season.

The Fighting Illini's official Spring 2011 record is 8-2, and they are ranked 25th in the league. Congratulations on a great season girls!
