A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS GOES OUT TO KEONNA OLIVER for making it to the Sectional Championship round of the 3 point shootout! She advanced further than anyone in the history of the program in the shootout! GREAT JOB KEONNA!!

Lady Kays home opener proves to be a game to remember. The Lady Kays broke their two year losing streak by coming out with intensity and passion and proving that they were not going to let history repeat itself again. The Lady Kays played an amazing game handing Herscher a loss and picking up their first win for the varsity program since Jan. 04, 2005.

The Lady Kays picked up their first Conference win in a couple years taking down Crete in a home contest that wont soon be forgotten.

A third home win for the Lady Kays came when they came out of the gates big against Central. The Kays took a 22 point lead into the lockerroom at the half. Central made it exciting at the end, but the Lady Kays were determined to close another win out at home.

The Lady Kays pick up a first round win in the Iriquois West tourney facing Clifton Central for the sencond time in a week. The Lady Kays knew not to take Clifton lightly after that near come from behind run they gave them at our place. We met up again on a neutral court and pulled a first round upset over a higher ranked Clifton team. The Kays didn't let seeding get them down, they came out and played hard and played to win from tip to finish. It was a very good team win for the Lady Kays and moved us to a tough bracket of contenders for the remainder of the tourney. Although we didn't pick up anymore wins the Kays put fear in every opponent they faced playing passionate and intense basketball throughout the tournament. Stephanee Y. came away with all tournement honors, which we VERY MUCH deserved.
