The Renegades Are Back: On April 6th, the Georgia Renegades travel to Crestview, Florida and walked into the arena and did not walk out until they had beaten every team they face and finished the tourney with a 5 win and 0 losses. It was the first championship of the summer for the Renegades. They used a balance attack and had 4 players to average double figures, led by Jordan Harris (14.4) Lance Beachem (14.1) Anfernee King (10.3) and Tremaine Harris (10.1). The Renegades also got plenty of help on the defensive end and on the boards from Tony Smith, Patrick Adams and youngsters Quentavius Sparks and Trevone Sims. Their next tournament will be April 27th in Pensacola, Fl.
These young men have worked very hard and have done a tremendous job on and off the court. They have been invited to several marquee tournaments due to their willingness to play as a team and display great discipline, including the WYBT tourney in Hawaii later this summer. Anyone interested in donating or making any kind of sponsorship please contact Coach Juwan Hopkins. Players are in order from left to right: Asst Coach Travis Sims, Anfernee King, Tony Smith, Tremaine Harris, Lance Beachem, Quentavius Sparks, Patch Adams, Trevone Sims, Jordan Harris and Asst Coach Charles C.
