DEC 30 Lightning vs. L'il Capitals

The JR Lightning hosted the L'il Capitals Friday night, and it was clear from the beginning the L'il Caps were determined to hand the Lightning their first defeat of the season. Ethan T. was on a mission and racked up 5 unanswered goals in the first period (one on an assist from Cole). He continued the scoring in the second period, picking up two more goals. Cole and Holden also scored for the L'il Caps in the second. Luke was determined not to let his team to be shut out, and he got on the board for the Lightning midway through the second. The game ended with a lopsided score of 9-1, in favor of the L'il Caps.

The Lightning will be looking to get back in the W column as they once again host the L'il Caps this Friday at 6:30. They also host the L'il Predators on Sunday at 3:30.
