Bulldogs Tip Off the Year with a Victory

KENT, WA  --  For the second year in a row, the Mill Creek Bulldogs tipped off the season in proper fashion with a six point victory over the Pioneers of Meeker Middle School.  The Bulldogs struggled early, falling behind 7-0 for most of the first quarter.  By the end of the first half, the Bulldogs had pulled within two, trailing 23-25.  Mill Creek went on a huge run early in the third quarter to take the lead, and never relinquished it.  Meeker closed to within one point with two minutes left, making the game very exciting at the end.  A near capacity crowd of both Meeker and Mill Creek fans watched an impressive performance by the Bulldogs sparked by an up-tempo, unselfish style of play. 

The Bulldogs face another tough challenge on Tuesday, December 2, on the road against the Meridian Monarchs.
