Mill Creek Sweeps MeridianJan. 15, 2009 KENT, WA -- The Bulldogs posted their second victory of the season against the Meridian Monarchs, 45-26. Taking a six point lead into the start of the second quarter, outstanding inside play combined with pressure defensive allowed the Bulldogs to outscore the Monarchs 15-3. The Bulldogs never looked back as they accumulated 38 rebounds on the night. The victory keeps Mill Creek in a three way tie for first place with Cedar Heights and Meeker, who play each other next Tuesday, 1/20/09. The Bulldogs will play the Bears of Tahoma Gold. With only two games remaining in the season, the Bulldogs can guarantee themselves at least a share of the league championship if they win both of their remaining two games.
