We need 2 dance volunteers to work the playoff game on Friday, October 19^th.

7:30-9:30pm – Order Filler #1

7:30-9:00pm approx. – Order Filler Exp

Sep 28, 2012 - Coaching Staff

MDT: Great news! We have two more coaches. Coach Emily Ellefson (from River Heights Elem) and Coach Brooke Creaser (from River Heights Elem) will join Coach Mel & me for our 2012-13 dance season. We will announce an optional team bonding/skills session soon so you can get to know your coaches and vice versa. We can discuss the season and answer questions at that time. :)

MHS Winter Sports Meeting for Dancers and Parents is on October 29th.

Sep 20, 2012 - Varisty Jazz Practice

Varisty Dancers will be learning the jazz routine on Sept 23rd. 11:30am - 6:00pm at MHS (large cafe)

This practice may be done early if all goes well :)

Sep 3, 2012 - Shake It Up Practice

Mandatory Shake It Up practices: Tuesday, Sept. 4 & Thursday, Sept. 6 at 6:00 am! This is our only chance to practice with the cheerleaders. See you soon!

Aug 1, 2012 - Day 3 Camp

3^rd and Final Day

*This morning there will be no warm up session. You will need to warm up and stretch on your own.

7:30 Breakfast

8:00 Meet in Gym / Team Bonding Activity

8:30 Break (water, snack, get ready for competition, Elite

members change if the want, etc)

9:00 Team Routine Competition/Evaluation (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th)

Elite Team Evaluations (compete in groups of two)

Show Individual Routines (2 times each)

*11:00 Ice Cream Social / Pack Car

*11:30 Awards

*Approximate times. We will finish earlier if possible. I will be in the building with my dancers if parents can’t pick dancers up until noon.

Aug 1, 2012 - Barron Camp Elite Team

Elite Team

-Around 20 dancers will be chosen to compete against each other on Wednesday during the Competition

-The competitors will be announced on Tuesday

-They will dance the first part of the team routine and show 2-3 choices of technique

-12 will be chosen to be a part of the 2012 Elite Team

-Medals for each of the 12 Elite Members

-When they compete against each other they can wear whatever they want.
