2009 TRACK CLUB
Hello MHS Track & Field Parents,
The track season is gearing up and the athletes are getting excited about competing. I attended the practice meet in Allen on Thursday night and our kids our looking good. The season should be eventful! The Booster Club is in the planning stages of several events for this season.
First event is an Ice Cream Social for the team so they can get to know their Booster Club officers. We are diligently looking for a place and more information will be coming soon.
We are deeming MISD Relays meet as Parent's Nite on March 6th this is our first one so we NEED YOU to come and pack the stands out.
The next planned event is an Art's and Crafts Show tentatively set for the weekend of Easter and lastly we are in the process of creating a team web site to capture moments of the 2009 season.
I am also writing to you to solicit your help. If you are able to assist us with the Arts & Crafts Fundraiser please contact Pam Oliver at pamoliver@yahoo.com and she will give you more information of the areas where we need help.
Next we need three parents to volunteer to help take action shots during the track season to be added to the team site. If you are able to help in this regard please contact Kris Wallace at kris@watershod.com.
