RECRUITING The Mid Coast Falcons are currently looking for minor league level football players from across the state of Maine. We practice in Augusta and home field is at Clifford Mitchell Turf Field. We are looking for commited men who have the same love for the game that we do. Semi pro players on the team are responsable for there own pads, and helmet, as well as $175.00 yearly dues. These dues cover league fees, officals, and full uniform, (jersey,pants,socks and helmet logo). You as a player will be reponsable for transportion to and from practices and games, although many of us car pool and it should not be hard to find someone from the team in your area, as we are sped out across the state. News Article - Bouncing back - Jul 13, 2010 After a hard loss to western Mass the falcons look to come back strong this week against a strong 2-0 Townies team. Mid Coast has no intention of surrendering not now and not anytime soon. We started this team with the plans to be Maines premier minor league football team. When asked about quiting head coach Rich Mills said " I dont care if we loose every game this year we will still come back next year to smash heads again, and you know what, we are going to get better every week". When will Mid Coast get its 1st win only time will tell, but till then i think every team who plays them will be suprised. Don Resh Jr
New Photo Gallery - Game Photos - Jun 30, 2010 News Article - March Of Dimes Walk - May 2, 2010 The Mid Coast Falcons will be walking in the march of dimes walk on Sunday May 2, 2010. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and many Falcon players will be walking as well as handing out water. The team will have a booth and game tickets for the upcoming season will be available. Also tickets to the event opener for the EFL's 50th season, six games over 2 days in Lawerence, Mass. These tickets are also good for a $1000 raffle ticket to be drawn at the event (attendence not required to claim prize). We will also have raffle tickets for 4 tickets to an upcoming Portland Sea Dogs game, there will also be kids toys, balloons, team shirts, stickers etc. available all to benefit the Mid Coast Falcons and their affiliattes the March Of Dimes. The Mid Coast Falcons are a new minor league football team playing in the EFL (eastern football league). 2010 is our first season, and we are hoping to bring hard hitting football to all of Maine. Our home field is Clifford Mitchell Turf Field located in Scarborough, Maine. We are looking forward to a great year and hope to have a great fan base in both Central and Midcoast Maine. The Falcons are proud to say they are a non profit organization who will donate all team profits to the March of Dimes. The whole team will also walk in the march of dimes located in Waterville, Maine.
